​OUR PURPOSE

​The purpose of the Academy is to stimulate scientific research; to promote fraternal relationships among those engaged in scientific work in Oklahoma; to diffuse among the citizens of Oklahoma a knowledge of the various disciplines of science; and to investigate and make known the material and educational resources of the State.​

Announcements

Registration is now open for the Oklahoma Academy of Science Fall Field Meeting on Saturday, October 3, at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
This is a free, one-day event, and advance registration is encouraged so we can plan for the number of participants attending.

Registration is now open for the Annual Technical Meeting of the Oklahoma Academy of Science.

Technical Meeting

The 2026 Technical Meeting is scheduled to be held at Oklahoma City University on Friday, November 6. 

Fall Field Meeting

The 2026 Fall Field Meeting will be held on October 3rd at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
