ANNUAL TECHNICAL MEETING

The Annual Technical Meeting of the Academy is held each November at one of our state's fine institutions of higher education.  The meeting provides a forum for presentation of scientific scholarship by students, faculty, and citizen scientists.  The Academy's annual business meeting is held in conjunction with this event.

Technical Meeting Information

Registration for the 105th Annual Technical Meeting of the Academy is now open (see details below).  This year's event will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa.  

​Attendees that wish to present a poster or oral presentation should complete the "Individual Registration" below.  Information regarding poster and oral presentation criteria and student competition information can be found on the Collegiate Academy page.

For those of you interested in staying overnight on Thursday, the designated meeting hotel is the Holiday Inn Tulsa City Center, 17 W. 7th Street Tulsa, OK 74119. A block of rooms has been set aside for OAS attendees. Please note there is no free breakfast at the Holiday Inn, but breakfast is available at Boulder Grill located in their lobby. Shuttle is available from the hotel to OSU-CHS. It might be best if the group uses this option to help the campus parking situation. The standard rate is $89 per room and use OAS as the code when making a reservation. Click here to visit the Holiday Inn Tulsa City Center website.  Enter the dates of the stay, November 3. The group code OAS should automatically generate. Then click "check availability” and that will lead to the rate screen with a 2 Queen Beds with a $89 rate.

Individual Registration

Instructions: Complete the following form to register for the Annual Technical Meeting of the Oklahoma Academy of Science.  Registration is not complete until your electronic payment has been received.  Payment is processed on the following page. Contact Dr. David Bass (dbass@uco.edu) with questions regarding registration.  To assure proper catering and program arrangements, online registration will end at ​noon on Friday, October 28.  Onsite registration for non-presenters will be available at the event.

Group Registration

Instructions:  If you prefer to register your attendees as one group instead of each participant registering individually, please follow these instructions.  Any participant that is presenting a poster or oral presentation at the meeting, must register individually using the form at the left. Registration is not complete until your electronic payment has been received. Contact Dr. David Bass (dbass@uco.edu) with questions regarding registration.  To assure proper catering arrangements, online registration will end at noon on Friday, October 28.  Onsite registration will be available at the event.
