ANNUAL TECHNICAL MEETING
The Annual Technical Meeting of the Academy is held each November at one of our state's fine institutions of higher education. The meeting provides a forum for presentation of scientific scholarship by students, faculty, and citizen scientists. The Academy's annual business meeting is held in conjunction with this event.
Technical Meeting Information
Registration for the 113th Annual Technical Meeting of the Academy is now open (see details below). The meeting will take place on Friday, November 1 on the campus of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
Are You Presenting Research at the Technical Meeting?
Attendees who wish to present a poster or paper (oral) presentation should complete the "Individual Registration" below. Paper (Oral) Presentations: Concurrent sessions for each section will run in the morning and early afternoon (as needed). Presenters will be asked to upload presentations to a shared folder the week before the meeting (more details soon). Remote clickers/laser pointers will be available in order for presenters to advance slides. Moderators will be available to introduce your talk. The time allotted for oral presentations is 15 minutes; which includes time for questions. Moderators will not allow you to go beyond 15 minutes. Poster Presentations: The poster session is scheduled immediately after lunch (1:30-3:30). Posters can be hung anytime before 1:30. Posters should not exceed 36" x 48". Technical Meeting Registration
Instructions: Complete the following form to register for the Annual Technical Meeting of the Oklahoma Academy of Science. Registration is not complete until your electronic payment has been received. Contact Dr. Adam Ryburn ([email protected]) with questions regarding registration. To assure proper catering and program arrangements, online registration will end on Friday, October 18. Onsite registration for non-presenters will be available at the event.
If you prefer to register your attendees as one group instead of each participant registering individually, please contact Dr. Adam Ryburn ([email protected]). Any participant that is presenting a poster or oral presentation at the meeting, must register their presentation individually using the form below.
