- Digital Program with Schedule and Abstracts: A complete program including the day’s schedule of activities and abstracts to all presentations can be found by clicking here. No printed programs will be provided, so please plan to view the program on your mobile device.
- Presenters: If you are presenting and haven’t received a confirmation email about your presentation’s location and time, please reach out to Dr. Adam Ryburn ASAP. Note: No “walk-up” presentations will be permitted, and all presenters must have pre-submitted their presentation information.
- General Parking: Look for signs! Attendees are directed to park across the street, north of the Biological Sciences Center (see parking map below).
- Check-In and Registration: Registration and check-in will begin at 7:30 AM in the Biological Sciences Center, where attendees can pick up their nametags (please wear these throughout the meeting). Onsite registration will also be available for those that did not preregister (no cash accepted).
- Oral Presentations: The first oral presentations start at 8:30 AM and run concurrently through the morning. Locations and details are in the program.
- Academy Business Meeting: The agenda for the meeting, which runs from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, is posted on the Archives page. All are welcome to attend, and the meeting will be held in Room 111 of the Biological Sciences Center.
- Academy Luncheon: For those who purchased tickets, the luncheon will start at noon in Room 112 of the Biological Sciences Center. Dr. Sung-Kun “Sean” Kim, Professor of Biochemistry and Program Chair of the Master of Science in Natural Sciences program at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be our Academy Luncheon keynote speaker. We have a very limited number of available box lunches that can be purchased onsite. Click here to see more information on Dr. Kim.
- Poster Session: This session follows the Academy Luncheon, running from 1:30-3:30 PM in Biological Sciences Center hallways. All materials needed for poster displays will be provided. Check the program for further details.
ANNUAL TECHNICAL MEETING
The 2023 Technical Meeting will be held in person at East Central University on Friday, November 5.
Are You Presenting Research at the Convention?
Oral Presentations: Concurrent sessions for each section will run in the morning and early afternoon (as needed). Presenters should bring presentations on a memory stick and presentations should be uploaded to room computer as earlier possible. Remote clickers will be available in order for presenters to advance slides. Moderators will be available to introduce your talk. The time allotted for oral presentations is 15 minutes; which includes time for questions. Moderators will not allow you to go beyond 15 minutes.
Poster Presentations: The poster session is scheduled immediately after lunch (1:30-3:00). Presenters will be supplied with everything they need to hang their posters. Posters can be hung anytime before 1:30. Posters should not exceed 36" x 48".

Professional Develpment opportunities are avaible for faculty (and interested graduate students) and run concurrent with the poster session in the afternoon (1:30-3:00). Click here to see the list of workshops.
